Musicians for a Wedding Anniversary in Alicante and Spain
Live music for an anniversary, from a dinner for two to a big party with guests, with our own sound and lighting.
A wedding anniversary can be a quiet dinner for two or a party with a band and dozens of guests, and Team5 plays both. If you are looking for musicians for a wedding anniversary, we bring live music with our own sound and lighting to anniversaries all over Spain, and we choose the line-up around the evening you have in mind.
Three ways to celebrate a wedding anniversary with live music
- A dinner for two: a violinist or a saxophonist for an hour to an hour and a half, in a restaurant or at home. This is the most intimate and the most popular choice;
- A party with family and friends: a duo or trio with a calm programme and a dance block;
- A round anniversary of 10, 20 or 25 years: the right moment for the full band, a screen with the story of the couple and a proper party.
The most moving moment is often hearing the song of your first wedding dance played live. Send it to us beforehand and the musician will prepare an arrangement.

A surprise anniversary musician
A frequent request is to book a musician without the partner knowing. It works, and we do it, but a few details have to be agreed beforehand:
- How and when the musician enters the room so the surprise is not spoiled early;
- Where the instrument and equipment wait before the performance;
- Whether the restaurant has been told, otherwise the staff may ruin it with the best of intentions;
- Which piece should be played first.
Write to us early and we will talk it through with the venue ourselves.
What is included
- Musicians in the format you choose;
- Sound sized to the venue;
- Lighting, only if you want it;
- A screen for the photo story of the couple;
- A microphone for the greetings;
- Installation and take-down.
Ideas for a 10, 20 or 25 year anniversary party
At a round anniversary the party usually grows beyond a dinner for two. These additions make sense:
- A screen with a photo story from the wedding pictures to today, which is the moment guests stop looking at their phones;
- A repeat of the first dance to the same song, played live;
- Video greetings from people who were at the wedding but cannot be there now;
- A host, if there are more than thirty guests and someone has to run the evening;
- A dance part with the full band, if the venue allows it.
Where to celebrate a wedding anniversary in Spain
- A restaurant is the simplest choice for an intimate format, but agree the music with the venue early;
- A villa or private house gives more freedom, though power and noise rules need checking;
- A country finca suits a big date with guests and dancing;
- A terrace with a sea view in Calpe, Jávea or Benidorm is beautiful, but wind means the sound has to be set with a reserve.
How long should the musician play
- A dinner for two: 1 to 1.5 hours with a soloist;
- A party of 10 to 30 guests: 2 hours with a soloist or a duo;
- A round date with 40 or more guests: a full evening, with a quiet programme for dinner and then a dance block.
We settle the exact timing in advance so the music does not end just when the guests have warmed up.
The technical side of an anniversary
An intimate format needs only a compact set: amplification for the instrument, a microphone for greetings and a small speaker. For a big date we bring the complete sound and lighting set-up, and a stage if the room needs it. In a restaurant the kit is always smaller, because there is less room and the neighbouring tables limit the volume.
Where we play anniversaries
You can celebrate where you were married or somewhere completely new, because the musicians set out from Alicante, where Team5 is based. Calpe is 65 km away and the terraces of Jávea 90 km, which is a short drive for a dinner with a view over the sea.
Madrid, Málaga, Marbella and Barcelona are far enough to need a separately planned trip and a night on site for the crew. Details for individual destinations are on the cities page, and southern France is possible as well.
An anniversary without three separate suppliers
The common pattern is musicians from one source, hired speakers from another and the installation from someone else. We do it differently, because a single team provides both the music and the equipment.
- Responsibility is clear from the start, so a problem cannot be shrugged off as somebody else’s;
- Our players are used to the equipment, which keeps the opening number from turning into a fight with the desk;
- The engineer knows the repertoire and where a vocal should come up and where it should sit back;
- The restaurant deals with one crew and you deal with one contact.
What we take and what we leave to you
We provide an engineer for the whole event, a sound check before the guests and control of the timing. We also pick the line-up to suit the occasion, check what the venue allows, bring and install all the kit and then take it away. A place with too little power gets a generator from us, and a van that cannot get in is swapped for a smaller one making several trips.
You organise the venue and its consent to our arrival, the catering and menu, a photographer, the pieces that must not be missed and any video you want to show. Our partners can take on decoration and filming. You sign with the venue yourselves, and we will tell you which questions to put to it.
How to book music for an anniversary
A first message with the date, the city, the place, the format and a rough guest count is all we need. We look at the calendar and send availability and a price within the day. Then we find out from the venue what power it has, how loud we may be, when we can set up and how to reach the room, and we ring them if that is quicker. The date is fixed as soon as this is agreed.
A few weeks before the evening we go through the programme, the playlist and your favourite songs. The team gets there early, sets up and tests the sound, and when the evening ends everything goes back into the van.
Whether a musician or the band is free on your anniversary we check on request: send us the date and the place. Useful reading: how to choose musicians and the event planning checklist.
Frequently asked questions
Can we book a musician for a dinner for two in a restaurant?
Yes, it is the most popular anniversary format. It usually runs for an hour to an hour and a half with a violin or a saxophone.
Will you play our wedding song?
Yes. Send the song beforehand so the musician has time to arrange it.
Can it be a surprise?
Yes. We agree with the venue how and when the musician enters so that nothing is revealed too early.
Does the restaurant need to be told?
Yes, without fail, and it is better if we do it, because venues have their own rules about music and volume.
How do we know if a musician is free for our anniversary?
Write us the date and the format of the evening. We look at the calendar and answer.
Which languages does the team speak?
Write to us in English, Spanish, Ukrainian or Russian, whichever is easiest when you are planning the evening, or a surprise.
Planning an anniversary?
Send the date, city and format and we will choose a musician, and agree any surprise with the restaurant.
