Band Hire in Spain: Live Music in the Cities We Cover
Live bands, violinists and saxophonists arriving with their own sound and lighting. Pick your city for venues, distances and local notes.
Team5 is based in Alicante and offers band hire for weddings, private parties and corporate events across Spain and as far as the south of France, around 700 km out. Pick your city below for venues, distances and local notes, or scroll down to see what a trip out of town includes.
You get musicians and the full technical set from one team: sound, lighting and, when needed, a stage and a screen. Fourteen places have their own page. For Alicante itself, start on the Team5 home page.
Live music on the Costa Blanca
These towns sit within about an hour of our base, so the drive has almost no effect on the quote.
- Elche, 25 km: fincas by the UNESCO palm grove, with the airport close by;
- Benidorm, 45 km: hotels with their own banquet rooms;
- Torrevieja, 50 km: the town with the largest Ukrainian community in Spain.
Northern Costa Blanca
A resort strip of villas, fincas and terraces above the sea, about an hour to an hour and twenty minutes by road.
- Calpe, 65 km: open-air venues with a view of the Ifach rock and a breeze off the sea;
- Denia, 90 km: a UNESCO city of gastronomy, parties built around a long dinner, and the ferry port for the Balearics;
- Jávea, 90 km: villas and fincas among the pines, almost everything outdoors.
Live music in Murcia and Valencia
The Region of Murcia is a separate autonomous community with its own rules on volume and permits.
- Murcia, 80 km, roughly an hour: large country fincas set among the huerta;
- Cartagena, 110 km: panoramic terraces over the harbour, with the Mar Menor nearby;
- Valencia, 180 km, about an hour and three quarters: masias and fincas around the province, and the widest choice of venues on the coast.
Band hire in Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga and Marbella
We travel here too, with the crew staying overnight. Loading happens the evening before, the crew comes with an overnight stay, and the same team turns up with the same equipment.
- Madrid, 420 km, about four hours: the second largest Ukrainian community in Spain, a continental climate and its own calendar of seasons;
- Málaga, 500 km, about five hours: a big airport for guests flying in from abroad;
- Barcelona, 530 km, about five hours: Catalan masias with heritage status, and we have already worked in Girona;
- Marbella, 530 km: private villas and terraces, where a compact line-up replaces the full band.
Is your town missing? That does not mean we do not go there. Gandia, Altea, Bilbao, Zaragoza or anywhere else within roughly 700 km is possible. Send the place and the date.
Distances from Alicante
All distances on this page are counted from Alicante, where our base is.
| Distance | Places | What it means for the booking |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 65 km | Benidorm 45 km, Calpe 65 km, Elche 25 km, Torrevieja 50 km | Travel hardly changes the quote |
| 80 to 180 km | Murcia 80 km, Denia and Jávea 90 km each, Cartagena 110 km, Valencia 180 km | An ordinary working trip |
| 420 to 530 km | Madrid 420 km, Málaga 500 km, Barcelona and Marbella 530 km each | Planned ahead, with the crew staying overnight |
What every trip includes
- A live band or a solo musician matched to your format;
- Professional sound sized to the room or the outdoor space;
- Lighting for the stage and for the architecture of the venue;
- Stage and screen, if the format calls for them;
- Microphones for the vows, the speeches and the presenter;
- Installation, sound tuning and an engineer on duty all evening;
- Dismantling and removal of the equipment after the party.
That is the main difference from hiring musicians in one place, renting speakers in another and arranging the set-up with a third person. The technical side is explained in what sound and lighting hire includes.
How travel is priced
The journey is a separate line in the quote, and it moves the total less than most people expect. These things matter far more:
- The line-up: soloist, duo, trio or full band;
- How much equipment you need, from sound alone to sound, lighting, stage and screen;
- The venue: a closed hall is simpler and cheaper than an open garden, where lights must be rigged from nothing;
- Guest numbers, which set how powerful the sound system has to be;
- How long you want music: a dinner of two hours or an evening of dancing.
Who you can book
- Royal Band: international hits, with a full set for the meal and then the dancing;
- Rock Beat: Spanish rock and pop-rock, plus English-language rock classics;
- A violinist, a saxophonist or a singer, who suit the ceremony, a drinks reception or the meal itself;
- A duo or trio, when a full band is too big for the room;
- A host (MC), who presents in Ukrainian and Russian and can add Spanish on request.
The overview is on the artists page, and the two bands are compared in the cover bands guide.
How to book a band in your city
- Send the city, date, venue, format and roughly how many guests;
- We check the diary and reply with availability and a quote the same day;
- We confirm the practical side with the venue: power, volume caps, build time and where the vehicle unloads, phoning them ourselves when that helps;
- The date is held once the terms are agreed;
- Some weeks ahead we agree the set list, any songs that must be played and the running order;
- On the day we arrive early, set up and check the sound before the first guest comes in;
- Afterwards we take everything down and take it away, so there is nothing to clear.
For any town, we confirm the booking window on request, after checking the diary.
One team for music and kit. When something sounds wrong there is one answer, because nobody splits the blame between the band and the hire company. The musicians know the equipment, and one crew arrives once and sets up once. You deal with one person instead of three.

Frequently asked questions
How far will you travel for an event?
Anywhere in Spain, and in the south of France too: the reach is roughly 700 km from Alicante. The limit is organisational rather than geographical, since on a long trip the crew stays overnight.
My city is not on your list. Do you still come?
Yes. Not every destination has its own page, but we work much more widely. Send the city and the date and we will reply the same day.
Do I have to find a local sound and lighting company?
No. All the equipment is our own and travels with the musicians, so there is no need to find a local rental company.
Can I arrange everything in English?
Yes, nobody needs to switch language. Spanish, English, Ukrainian and Russian are spoken in the team, so the enquiry, the quote and the planning can all happen in English. Our MC is the one exception, working in Ukrainian and Russian plus Spanish, never English.
Where should we bring the music?
Tell us the city, date and venue, and we will send a quote the same day.
