Wedding Band and Live Music in Valencia
A wedding band and soloists for weddings, milestone birthdays and corporate events, with our own audio, lighting and staging. We drive up from Alicante on the AP-7.
A wedding band for Valencia has plenty of venues to choose from, as it is the third-largest city in Spain and its choice is wider than anywhere else on the coast, so we choose the technical set-up for the actual location, not from a template. We make the run up the AP-7 from Alicante with a cover band or a soloist and our own speakers, lights and, on request, a stage and screens.
Live music for weddings and parties in Valencia
Valencia is one of the five provinces where most of Spain’s Ukrainian community lives, around 11% of all Ukrainians in the country. Only Madrid (13%) and Barcelona (12%) come higher, along with Alicante, while Málaga is close behind (10%). So a wedding or anniversary here is likely to have a mixed room of Ukrainian relatives, Spanish colleagues and neighbours, and sometimes guests from other coastal towns. A live band that holds both languages and both musical traditions works better than any playlist. International couples can plan with us in English.
Driving from Alicante to Valencia
The distance is about 180 km, roughly an hour and three quarters on the AP-7. For us it is an ordinary working trip: equipment goes on board the evening before or at dawn, and the crew arrives with time in hand for the build. The journey is itemised in the quote, yet it hardly changes the overall cost, since venue type and equipment weigh far more than 180 km of motorway.
Who we can bring to Valencia
- Royal Band: songs known worldwide, and a full show from the first course to the last dance;
- Rock Beat: rock, pop-rock and classics in both Spanish and English;
- A violinist, a saxophonist or a vocalist who plays the ceremony, the meet-and-greet or dinner;
- A duo or trio, a good fit where a whole band would crowd the room;
- A presenter (MC) who speaks Ukrainian and Russian, with Spanish as a fallback; English is not offered for the MC role.
Both bands can be heard on the cover bands page.
Sound, lighting and stage travel with us
All the equipment is our own and arrives with the musicians. For a city we travel to, that means you do not have to find a local hire company, agree the build separately and hope an unfamiliar crew mixes the sound properly.
In practice that means audio scaled to the room or the outdoor site, scenic and architectural lighting, mics for the ceremony, the toasts and the MC, and set-up, soundcheck and a sound engineer through the evening. A stage and screen come on request.
Behind the scenes, the package is itemised in what sound and lighting hire includes, while the equipment can also be rented alone via sound and lighting hire.
Wedding venues in and around Valencia
Valencia is known for its masias and fincas, old estates with a large plot of land. Among the well-known locations in the city and province:
- El Huerto de Santa Maria: over 100,000 square metres in the north of the province, with a greenhouse, private halls, masias, its own kitchen, terraces and traditional Valencian barracas;
- Hacienda Campo Anibal in El Puig: a historic 19th-century estate with gardens, inner courtyards and indoor halls;
- Masia Mas de Alzedo: the Patio del Reloj, a Mirror Hall and a dance area overlooking the Turia river;
- Finca La Hacienda in Chiva: gardens, a private lake and panoramic views;
- An 18th-century masia in Ribarroja: across from the Turia nature park, eighteen minutes from the centre, hosting both intimate weddings and banquets of 250+ guests.
Technically these fall into three familiar types, and the type decides the kit:
- A closed hall in a masia or hotel: compact sound and neat lighting;
- A garden, greenhouse or open courtyard: extra power, dedicated dance-floor lighting and occasionally a generator;
- A spot by the water, whether river, lake or coast: damp and wind, so the equipment goes in with a margin.

Las Fallas in March and what it does to your date
It is worth knowing in advance. In the middle of March, Valencia gives itself over entirely to Las Fallas, the main event of the year, when huge sculptures fill the city, streets are closed and fireworks sound day and night. If your date falls in that period:
- City venues are booked long before and almost none are left;
- A lorry may be unable to reach the centre, so the route and build time are planned separately;
- Hotels for guests cost several times more and sell out early;
- Background city noise competes with the sound at open sites.
The easiest fix is to move out of town, because the province has fincas and masias in abundance and the roads are quieter at that time. Send us the date, and we will say at once what to expect.
Occasions we cover in Valencia
- Weddings: the ceremony, a drinks reception, the banquet, the first dance and dancing until late;
- Birthdays, milestone ones included, with a programme built for the person celebrating;
- Corporate events, from a company dinner to a gathering of several hundred;
- Anniversaries and family parties kept intimate;
- Concerts and city events, with the stage and screen supplied in full.

What to play: our repertoire scheme
In a mixed room it works best to let international hits fill most of the night, bring Ukrainian songs in for the moments that matter (first dance, toasts, finale) and switch to Spanish numbers late on, when everyone is on the floor. The playlist is fixed beforehand, and you tell us which songs are non-negotiable.
Outdoors or indoors: which months suit which
- May and June: the best time for open-air events;
- July and August: hot by day, so the programme shifts to the evening and the equipment needs protection from overheating;
- September and October: warm evenings and venues easier to get than in the peak months;
- November to April: a closed hall wins, and March is complicated separately by the Fallas.
What to ask a venue before you sign
- How much power is on offer and where the sockets sit, as a full band with lights needs a dedicated line;
- Whether a volume cap applies, and until when;
- When we can come in to build, since a full set takes several hours;
- How the lorry gets in and where it unloads, which matters for a masia with a long drive;
- Whether the musicians get a room of their own;
- Whether the venue’s contract requires its own equipment to be used;
- What the plan is for a canopy in case of rain.
Pass us the venue name before you commit a deposit. A short call establishes the technical conditions and tells you whether everything fits the budget, which beats solving it on site. Our guide on how to choose an event venue goes further.
How to book live music for Valencia
Drop us a WhatsApp message or phone with the date, the venue or at least the area, a rough guest count and the type of event. We offer a line-up, add the travel to the kit price and reserve the date. A Valencia job holds the whole crew and all the equipment for the day, and we look up your Saturday as soon as your message arrives.
Where the cost comes from
No flat price for an evening can be reliable, because a number given without seeing the venue usually gets revised. The quote is built from the line-up, which is the biggest item, plus the amount of kit, the venue type, the guest count, the programme length, the 180 km trip of about an hour and three quarters, and electricity. If a venue is short of power, a generator is added.
Other destinations include Torrevieja and Madrid, plus Barcelona, and our range reaches all of Spain and into southern France.
Frequently asked questions
How far is Valencia from Alicante?
About 180 km, roughly an hour and three quarters on the AP-7. For us this is a routine trip, and the quote lists the travel separately.
Is separate sound and lighting hire needed for a Valencia event?
No. Everything is ours and arrives with the musicians: audio, lights and, where wanted, a stage and a screen.
Does the team work in English?
Yes. Day to day we use Spanish, English, Ukrainian and Russian. The MC role is covered in Ukrainian, Russian and optionally Spanish, with no English option.
Is Ukrainian music part of the show?
Yes. International hits sit beside Ukrainian and Spanish songs in our sets, and you pick which songs have to be played.
Is it possible to book only a violinist or saxophonist?
Yes, a soloist can be hired alone for a ceremony, a drinks reception or dinner.
What if my date falls during Las Fallas?
Choose a place outside the city, where things run more smoothly during that week. Send us the date and we check the diary and reply.
