LED screen and projector hire for events in Spain
Screens and projectors for video messages, photo stories, presentations and live feeds, installed and run by a Team5 operator all evening.
Team5 hires out projectors, screens and an operator for weddings, birthdays, conferences and concerts in Alicante and across Spain. We deliver, set up and run the picture for the whole evening, and we explain the daylight limit of projection before you book.
A screen is the part of a wedding guests talk about afterwards: a video message from relatives who could not travel, the couple’s story in photographs, childhood pictures during the first dance. At a corporate event it carries presentations and a live feed, and at a concert it gives the back rows something to watch.
What a projector and screen hire is used for
- Video messages from relatives in Ukraine or other countries who could not come, usually the strongest moment of the evening;
- A photo story of the couple, shown during dinner or the first dance;
- A live view of the ceremony for guests sitting far away;
- Remote guests joining by video call;
- Song lyrics and toasts, following a script agreed with the host.
Collect the video messages early and send them to us a few days before the event. Nobody can edit them on the day, and raw vertical phone clips look poor on a big screen.
What the hire includes
- A screen sized for the venue and the number of guests;
- A projector bright enough for the room;
- Connection to your laptop or other source;
- Sound for the video, balanced with the main sound of the event;
- An operator who starts each item at the right moment;
- Installation and dismantling.

Why an outdoor screen only works after sunset
This is the main technical limit, and it is better to know it before you book. A projector competes with light. In daylight, or at a brightly lit venue, the picture washes out, and no amount of extra power fixes that.
- Plan video messages for after dark;
- If you need pictures during the day, ask about an LED panel instead of a bigger projector;
- In a hall, make sure the lights can be dimmed at least around the screen;
- Position the screen so that venue lamps and our own architectural lighting do not shine on it.
This is why we plan the screen position together with the lighting: the two should help each other, not compete.
Projector or LED screen
- A projection screen costs less and gives a bigger picture for the same money, but it only works in the dark or a heavily dimmed room;
- An LED panel is bright and visible even in daylight, but it is dearer and heavier and needs a solid frame;
- The choice is simple: evening only means projection, and a daytime or brightly lit venue means LED.
Buying a more powerful projector instead of switching to LED is money wasted, because daylight wins either way.
What screen size you need
The further the last guest sits from the front, the bigger the screen has to be. Our rough guide:
- Up to 50 guests in the room: a small screen, because everyone is close;
- 50 to 150 guests: a medium screen, placed so that tables do not block the view;
- More than 150: a large screen, or two, so that every corner of the room can see;
- A concert is a separate case, where the screen is for people far from the stage.
Position matters as much as size. Behind a speaker, beside the stage or in a lounge area gives three very different results.
How to prepare your files for the screen
Most screen problems come from files, not equipment.
- Send everything 2 to 3 days ahead so that we can check and prepare it;
- Use landscape format, because vertical phone video becomes a narrow strip in the middle of a wide screen;
- Let us check the volume of each clip, so that a greeting is not half as loud as the music;
- Send a running order, a simple list of what plays after what;
- Use photos in decent resolution, since pictures saved from messaging apps fall apart into pixels when enlarged.
Using a screen at a wedding without spoiling the moment
- Do not put the show at the very start, when guests are still finding their seats;
- The best slot is between courses, when everyone is at the tables;
- Keep it to 5 to 7 minutes at most, because after that attention drops;
- Dim the lights around the screen, or the picture looks pale;
- Tell your photographer, because this is one of the most emotional moments of the night.
Which events use a projector and screen
- Weddings, for greetings, the photo story and a live view of the ceremony;
- Milestone birthdays, for a retrospective in photographs;
- Corporate events and conferences, for presentations, awards and reports;
- Concerts, to give the back rows a picture;
- Fashion shows and presentations, with the video running in step with the programme.

Screen together with sound, lighting and stage
Most clients take the screen with sound and lighting and, where needed, a stage. Then a single crew installs everything in one visit, to one layout plan. For a full set-up on a real job, read about the wedding near Girona, where we supplied sound, lighting, stage and screen together.
Where we deliver a projector and screen
The equipment travels from Alicante. Elche is 25 km away and Benidorm 45 km, so delivery hardly changes the quote there. Valencia at 180 km is an ordinary working trip, whereas Madrid at 420 km needs planning ahead and a night away for the crew. Bookings in the south of France are possible too, provided the venue is no more than about 700 km from Alicante. Destination notes are collected on the cities page.
How to hire a projector and screen
- Send us the date, where the event is, what kind of event it is and a rough head count;
- We check the diary and come back to you on that same day with a quote;
- We put our questions to the venue about electricity, noise limits, build times and access, and ring them ourselves if that helps;
- Once these points are settled, the date is booked;
- Closer to the event we walk through your running order and the schedule for the night;
- The crew reaches the venue ahead of time, puts the screen up and tests the picture while the room is still empty;
- Once the event is over the crew packs up and removes the equipment, leaving you no clearing to do.
Whether the screen is free on your date we tell you after checking the diary: put the day in your message.
Screen hire and live music from one team
Many clients hire the screen from one company, sound from another and musicians from a third, then try to line the installation up themselves. Because Team5 supplies the performers and the equipment, the video, the music and the speeches are cued by people who already work side by side.
- The operator follows a running order agreed with the host, so nobody has to ask a guest to press play;
- The engineer who balances the video sound already knows the band’s repertoire;
- If something sounds wrong, there is no one else to point at, because the equipment and the musicians are both ours;
- Musicians use kit they know, so the opening set is spent playing, not learning someone else’s desk;
- A single point of contact replaces three separate conversations.
What we see in practice is that things go wrong where two contractors meet, rather than inside one firm’s own work.

Frequently asked questions
Can you see a projector screen outdoors in daylight?
No. A projector loses to daylight and the picture washes out. Plan the show for after sunset, or choose an LED panel instead of projection.
When should I send the video messages?
A few days before the event. They cannot be edited on the day itself.
Who plays the video at the right moment?
Our operator does, following a running order agreed with the host. You do not need to ask a guest to do it.
Does the sound from the video go through your system?
Yes. It is mixed with the overall sound of the event so that the volume does not jump.
Can I hire a screen on its own?
Yes, but it is cheaper and simpler to install together with sound and lighting.
Can I arrange the screen in English?
Yes. Files, running order and timings can all be agreed in English, and the crew also works in Spanish, Ukrainian and Russian.
Need a screen for your event?
Send the date, the venue and what you plan to show, and we will price the kit for you.
