Wedding Music and Live Band in Denia

A violinist, saxophonist, duo or cover band for a wedding, birthday or dinner party in Denia, with our own sound and lighting. About an hour and twenty minutes from Alicante.

If you are looking for wedding music in Denia, or for a big family dinner with live music, Team5 can send a cover band or a soloist with our own kit. Denia is the gastronomic capital of the Costa Blanca, and a celebration here is almost always built around a long dinner rather than a disco, which changes which line-up and which programme work best.

Live music for a long dinner in a city of gastronomy

Denia holds the UNESCO City of Gastronomy title, and it is no formality: the local cooking, the famous red prawn and the restaurant culture are the main reason people come. Weddings and anniversaries here traditionally centre on a calm, multi-course dinner. For the music this means a different balance from a resort party:

So in Denia we most often suggest building the evening from quiet to loud, with a small line-up for dinner and the full programme after it.

How far is Denia from Alicante

It is about 90 km, about 80 minutes on the AP-7. That puts Denia in the middle range: not the nearest point, but far from our longest trips. We arrive in good time to set up, and the venue type moves the price far more than the drive does.

Guests coming from the Balearic Islands

Denia is the main ferry port of this part of the coast, with boats to Ibiza, Mallorca and Formentera. If some of your guests live on the islands, Denia is the most convenient point on the mainland for them, which is a rare argument that the neighbouring towns do not have.

Denia or Jávea: where your party really is

Half of the venues people call "in Denia" formally stand between the town and Jávea: on the slopes of Montgó, along the road to Les Rotes or just beyond the pass. For guests it is the same evening, but for us the difference is real: the access to a villa on a slope, the width of the gate, whether the van reaches the terrace or the kit has to be carried by hand. That is why we ask for a point on the map rather than a town name, and then work out the rest ourselves. If you are still choosing between a venue in Denia and one in Jávea, the cost of the music barely changes at this stage; what changes is the time for set-up and for leaving afterwards.

Open-air sound by the sea

Most celebrations here happen outdoors, on terraces, in gardens and by the water. Open air treats sound differently from a hall: without walls to bounce it back, "louder" does not mean "heard better". We put the speakers on stands above the guests' heads and aim them at the tables, not at the neighbouring houses, as at the wedding at a finca near Torrevieja. The evening sea breeze does not bother the sound, but it moves light structures such as banners, decor and tall lighting stands, so we weigh the stands down and keep tall elements away from where guests walk with glasses.

Who to book for a party in Denia

If English is your language of planning, that works here; we also speak Spanish, Ukrainian and Russian. You can watch clips on the cover bands page.

A small party is a format too

Not every celebration in Denia is a wedding for a hundred guests. Often it is a dinner on a villa terrace for twenty or thirty people, a birthday in a restaurant or a family party in a garden. A full band is too much for that. A duo or trio works better, or a saxophonist during dinner, or a violinist for the ceremony, with a DJ for the dancing. The sound is smaller too, a compact kit that does not take half the terrace or deafen the next table. If you are not sure what you need, describe the evening: how many people, where, what time it starts and whether there is a ceremony. We suggest the line-up ourselves.

Who does what at a villa

There are many private villas around Denia, and a villa, unlike a restaurant, has neither its own sound system nor anyone responsible for technical matters. To avoid confusion on the day, we divide the work at once:

Time limits are worth confirming before you sign with a venue, because on this coast they differ, and that point most often decides when the dancing has to end. Our own kit and engineer keep the level so that people can talk at the tables, and the sound and lighting hire guide explains how that works in practice.

Best time for a Denia wedding

What affects the price in Denia

There is no standard price for an evening, and a figure given without seeing the place tends to change later. The cost follows the musicians you choose (from one soloist up to the full band), the amount of kit, whether the setting is an indoor hall or an open garden where the lighting starts from nothing, the guest count, the length of the programme and whether there is enough power. Denia is 90 km away. Tell us the date, the venue and an approximate headcount, and you will have figures that same day.

Mistakes to avoid in Denia

How to book musicians for Denia

Reach us on WhatsApp or by phone with the date, the place, a rough guest count and the shape of the evening. Say separately whether a long dinner is planned, because it decides which line-up we recommend. See choosing musicians for what to look for in a video. Team5 also supplies a wedding band and corporate events, and plays regularly in nearby Calpe.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the drive from Alicante to Denia take?

About 90 km, roughly an hour and twenty minutes on the AP-7.

Which line-up suits a wedding with a long dinner?

A soloist, duo or trio while the courses are served, and the full programme after the main dishes. That way the guests can eat and then dance.

Can I book a saxophonist for dinner only?

Yes, this is a common format in Denia: a solo musician for two or three hours, without a full band.

Do you play Ukrainian songs?

Yes. Of course: Ukrainian songs sit alongside Spanish ones and well-known international hits, and the must-play list is yours to write.

Is Denia convenient for guests from the islands?

Yes. Denia is the main ferry port of the coast, with boats to Ibiza, Mallorca and Formentera.

Our venue is between Denia and Jávea. Is that for you?

Yes. We travel along the whole coast, and what matters to us is the exact point on the map: access, gates and the distance from parking to the venue.

Do you speak English?

Yes, you can arrange everything in English. On stage, the presenter uses Ukrainian and Russian, with Spanish if needed, and never English.
